Who's growing up?!

Birthdaycard for my brother-in-law...
Two favorites in here; the assome Eric from Stampotique and a child qoute.

This is the boys stamp I've used the most - by far! I just love him! Fits any occation ;)
I've coloured him with promarkers; petrol, soft green, raw sienna, sandstone, mustard, with ivory and vanilla skin.

The text inside;

So true, so true...

The papers are from MME and I've used the sketch from Scrappekammeret.

Im attending:

Stampotique - humourous birthday
Enjoy!

Two cards for the Stampotique challenge!

I just loved the Stampotique challenge this time - play with newspaper (or other similar papers!)
I LOVE to use newspapers, music notes, phrases and bookpages in my work!

First one up is this tag - made using an old norwegian - french wordbook, papers from Åhlens, stamps from Stampotique!

The other one is this thing.. Used old bookpages and the wordbook, made a collage and gave it a gesso wash.

The stamps used here is Stampotique and Inkadinkado.

So - now im going up in the mountains - with tent, primus and my boyfriend! Yippi! :D

Also entering these challenges:

Scrappekammeret - anything goes
Cupcake challenge - lots of layers (the first tagcard! :)

A special Guy

Here's a small tag I've made..

I have used a craft colored tag and stampt two Stampotique stamps on it using masking technique. Then I have used Distress ink (Tea Dye and Aged Mahogny) and a make up sponge to create the colored background. The boy is left without color and the hearts have glossy accent on them.

There are also some charcoal and black distress ink to be found here..

I also think this fits well for a teenager and are attending at Nordsaltens challenge!

Wish you all a nice day! :)

Two Tags - just for me!

Two tags made for me! :) One of those - "I just want to try it, just want to do it!"
This time it was the tutorial at Stampotique challenge blog - Faux Barnwood technique.

So I made two tags using the technique. Also I've used Versafine black ink to distress the edgess, and washitape. The text is embossed using Versafine and transparent powder.
One text from TH and one from Penny Black.
The one below might be difficult to read;

"No act of
kindness
no matter how
small
is ever wasted."

The stampt images are cut out and glued on - done nothing with them, just kept them black and white. (A litle inspired by Nemi.. ;) )

The back of the tags. Here you see the color I've used as basecolor on front.

They come complete with matching glassine bags! :D
(Have a litle challenge though - with the wings sticking out on the side! )

I also wish to attend at Top Tip Tuesday with these - they want you to use a favorite - and I've always loved crackling - all different techniques! :D

Thanks a bunch..

Another Stampotique based card...
I have used the same masking technique but the background is done with Distress Ink.

Inside...

To a Special Guy

**********

My Inspiration is on top right now and this is yesterdays doing..
I had this (and 4 more) lovely stamps from Stampotique before christmas and have been dying to try them out!
The result is a simple card - but the focus this time was to make the motiv so..

**********

I have used masking to combine the stamps (Eric and Kitty) and then I've coloured them with Promarkers.

De to tekststemplene sier:

***********

The paper is Chiyogami paper from Åhlens (aren't they cute?)
the texts say:

"A special guy"

and

"No one can fill your shoes"

**********

As said - its a simple card, but there is always room for a couple of staples ;)

AS som vil ha bursdagskreasjoner
Stampotique challenge blog that wants you to use masking
